Text

Text in SVG is drawn like any other shape. The SVG provides a great deal of control over the text. It is unfortunate that many viewers don't implement the advanced typographical features. The one major feature it doesn't have, word wrap or any kind of layout engine, should be coming in the next version of SVG.
