Half Hour Pudding

Ingredients A
2 cups boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. rum flavouring (optional)
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
Ingredients B
1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk (or soy milk)
1 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In heatproof bowl combine Ingredients A. Set aside.
  • Combine Ingredients B.
  • Spread evenly in 8 1/2 or 9 inch (22 cm) square pan.
  • Pour A over B.

Baking

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Portions

Serves as many people as you care to share this with(I recommend as few as possible).
